The Daily UserScript: Change Menu Item Defaults For Google Analytics

Today's userscript gives you the ability to change the default report from the overview for three Google Analytics sections: "Visitors", "Traffic Sources", and "Content".

The Unpleasantry:

More than 80 percent of the time I use Google Analytics I don't want to see the overview pages; I usually have a standard page for each section that I want to go to, like "Top Content" for the "Content" section.

Other times I'm flipping between sections a lot, and I wish I could pin the pages I am interested in.

The Alleviation:

Once you install the "Change Menu Item Defaults For Google Analytics" UserScript you can change the default page from the overview to another report.

Tutorial

If you are not on the default page for the current section, then you will see a "Make Default" button beside the "Export" button, in the gray bar towards the top of the report.

If you are on the default page for the current section, then you will not see a "Make Default" button beside the "Export" button, and the bar towards the top of the report will be orange.
